Control is out of Control

Control is out of Control
Few words makes a well formed sentence... No, not simply sentence, but ambiguous sentence... No, not ambiguous, it's a clear sentence... It carries feelings, memories, impressions, ................... to me and may be you too...

Control is out of Control
Few words came to my mind during the Modern Control Lecture... Few words that were dug in front of me... Few words that I selected to create a logo... A logo like this: !!!!!Crying!!!!!
Control Logo

Control is out of Control
Yes, it's an old background... It's a bad feeling... It's an old memories... That's why I wrote these words...
It's a background of previous two courses... It's a background from elder graduates... It's a background of previous exams...
It's a bad feeling to try to understand, but you can't... It's a bad feeling when you try to complete the exam, but you fail... It's a bad feeling when you try to go UP, but you find yourself going Down & Down...

These are all some old memories came to me... It's a story of two semesters in two different years... In the first, you don't understand the course; but you can solve... In the second (based on the first), you neither understand nor can solve but you just passed the exams....

Will these memories be drawn? Will these memories be replaced by better ones? Will the new Control course be a better course? Will we understand that course? Will we get better grades? Will ...? Will ...? Too many questions, and the answer is still unknown... By the end of semester we may tell you...

Ending this article hoping full Control, willing to Control, praying to get the Control over the Modern Control...

21st Birthday :D

It's about 3 months now from my last blog... I'm back to announce my 21st birthday.

It'll be tomorrow 27 March, 2007 if Allah wills.... But I don't know why this year too... Is it a must to have a long section with eng. Mina in my birthday?!!!

Tomorrow we were supposed to take:
  1. Compilers section with eng. M. Saad
  2. OR section with eng. Mina
  3. Compilers lecture with Dr. Nagwa
But, we'll take also another section -I guess DB- with eng. Mina....

Anyway, this year is better than the last one  (Review my First blog entry, it was about last year birthday).... Hopefully, this one there won't be any quiz and the term results are already announced...

Finally, I wish Allah bless me and my life and help me to do good and award me happy life and enter me the heaven

Dr. Mohamed Marouf

This blog carries to me some sadness event...
It remembers me by great person in my life...

About one year ago,

We missed one of our best professors.

We missed one of our best fathers.

We missed Dr. Mohamed Marouf.... He died about one year ago...

He was a very respectful man and a very knowledgeable professor.
He was the most careful professor to give us useful knowledge.

His course was the best explained that semester, the most clear and the most useful.

He dealt us as a father not as a professor.

He was a great professor... and persons like him are so few in life...

He left great memories for us...

We really miss him...

Don't forget to pray for him to be in the heaven....
God bless him and award him to be in heaven...

اللهم اغفر له وارحمه واجمعنا به فى الجنة يا رب العالمين

My friend Amr Magdy wrote the following poet to bewail him (Arabic):

3 minutes before GOOOOO :)

This time I wasn't involved in the event I'm about to blog about... (except by prays for my friends )

The above picture was taken 3 minutes before the GOOO of the contest

In it, you see 3 representing Egypt... They were representing Alexandria University in the Ninth ACM Arab and North Africa Regional Contest (29 Nov - 3 Dec 2006)

They are the SuperCyphers team members who made an extraordinary victory in this contest. They got the 4th place for the first time to enter this contest.

Ahmed Mounir (mony) - The one on the left
Mohamed Gabber (Gbby) - The one on the right
Mostafa Gaber (Bag3a) - Guess who of them

I would mention too some one who wasn't in this picture. He is the team coach Ali El Sayed

This blog entry is to send all my congratulations to all of them. Your colleagues in Computer Department, Faculty of Engineering are very proud of you. We hope more teams will be participating the next year.
